I have always loved the art of storytelling, whether: a book, a radio drama, listening to a storyteller, theatre, music, or poetry: story has always enthralled me. As an actor and budding scenic designer, I believe in the synergy of the elements involved in telling a compelling story.

I love authenticity in storytelling and stories that shed light on the complexities and plight of our human experience, that speak to the deep places within both actor and audience, provoking questions about who we are, where we are going, and whom we are becoming. I love theatre that reaches beyond the limits of my lived experience and world view and opens a door into the world and experiences of others with whom I may not be familiar. I love comedic stories- especially ones exploring complex ideas – Shakespeare, and classic theatre.

I came to theatre later in life after a career in humanities. I trained as an actor at Rosebud School of the Arts where I also discovered a love for scenic design. Some of my favourite credits include Betty The Foreigner, Rabbi Village of Idiots, and Inmate 7X12.
